John Krenicki Jr., 62, joined the board of directors in June 2018. He is vice chairman at the private-equity investment firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice LLC (CD&R) and is chairman of three privately held entities controlled or jointly controlled by CD&R. Previously, Krenicki built a 29-year career at General Electric Co., where he served as vice chairman as well as president and CEO of GE Energy, among other executive positions. He has a master’s degree in management from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut. He also is a member of the National Petroleum Council.
Mr. Krenicki brings to the Board his extensive knowledge of the overall value chain in the energy industry and his experience as an executive, leader and owner of a range of enterprises. His recognition of market dynamics and entrepreneurial change deepens the capabilities of the Board.
